nothing in the world could have prepared me for how far they strayed from source material in shadow and bone season 2. they had 7 books to pull from, and were supposed to be on book two. they smushed two books together, put stuff from books 5-7 in the season, and after that just made shit up. characters literally switched jobs and ships with one another from what they had in the book (1/2)
