This story is really interesting and entertaining. The first chapters were so captivating that I couldn’t stop reading. Some aspects of it, the gorilla in the cave by the lake, reminds me a lot of Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings. The guide seemed to be very much like Legolas from LOTR. I haven’t paid much attention to sci-fi but this story by Jules Verne has introduced me to another world I didn’t know existed.
