I was expecting more from Bob Odenkirk.

Here's my thought after reading the first story of this collection, and I realize it's not particularly revelatory, but still: Lynn Coady can fucking write.

Reading the McSweeney's letter column usually feels like you're eavesdropping at a wonderfully literary party where you get about half of the jokes. This strikes a good balance of that.
