Sometimes I find the people I connect with are not always the ones with common reading interests. Plus, it's a great way to find new reading material that I wouldn't explore on my own. There are lots of great people here, like yourself. And even though we'll probably never get to meet in real life, I feel very fortunate to know you!

You're very kind. My reading tastes are a bit useless sometimes because I try to use the library, and their ebook and audiobook selections are limited. I haven't read any mm romance type books, as but a whole series of het ones because the library has them and they had enough paranormal elements to keep me interested. I'm always interested in seeing your reviews of them.

I agree I think it's worth following people I think I'd get on with in real life even if our reading tastes aren't that similar. Filter bubbles can be dangerous, but still want to feel safe. My twitter feed is what I think Americans would call liberal, but I'm probably more libertarian than them. I doubt I'd vote the same as they do, but I'd get on with them more in real life then more right wing types.

I have two great libraries! One in the small town I live in, and the other in the city I work in. Since I'm trying hard not to add any more books to my sagging shelves, I use them as much as I can. Both libraries have a great selection of ebooks and audiobooks, but I still prefer to read actual books. Many of the m/m romances are not available in the libraries yet, but I see that is slowly changing.

As for politics, I'm mostly liberal, a little libertarian, and maybe even leaning toward conservative on some issues. American politics has this unfortunate two-party system that encourages binary thinking and fails to recognize other positions.

If you're interested in paranormal m/m, I would highly recommend Jordan Castillo Price's PsyCop series.
