Someone’s review recently, I think, prompted me to check this one’s availability and since it was free and I was ready for a new book I’m giving it a shot. I like the cover too.
I’m not sure it’s that great, as I see now the ratings seem to indicate. But hey, I’m a quarter through so we’ll keep plugging away for now.

Never mind, I give up. Pretty cover, but neither the story nor characters are grabbing me. It has too much stereotypical YA flavor for me even though these are more so young adults. I think the voice performance doesn’t enhance it either. Or perhaps it enhances the negatives instead. Anyway, I’m off for something else.
