So this books has grasped me instantly. So far we got given a moment of the present and now we are getting abit of a back story of some of the characters. A dad and his two children abandoned by their mother and he raised them. He struggles with the comfort side of parenting but is managing to bring up and care for his children well (as far as I can tell so far. I think I like this book)

I just have no clue what’s going on! The books is alright, well descriptive of nature and place, not much going on with interaction of characters,
So far, there’s a hit and run, a mother abandoning her family, kids not bonding with their dad, memories of teaching the kids to hunt, one kid falling through ice, an abortion, sex in a tent, sex in a car, sex in a trailer, climbing a mounting and seed planting…
