Okay, so maybe last update was an overreaction. The romance isn't that bad (but it still isn't good). I far more appreciate the underlying theme rather than the actual romance, though Falk is my choice (I like the Broody Agricultural Dudes, I guess). And, it has gotten funnier. The brothers' banter (while seriously... flawed... at some points) is pretty great.

I'm seriously considering dropping this book. The romance is... literally the worst romance I have ever read (and the worst love triangle). SPOILERS AHEAD but WHY didn't the author just keep Rune and Falk as Elise's foster brothers without the romance? The arc from Falk not liking her as much to him starting to realize her worth might have been really sweet. MUCH better than whatever this is
