Beatrice Small USED to write fantastic, in-depth, intriguing stories. Her last several books, however, give me the impression they were actually written by a high school student. The storylines are weak. The characters are flat. It's awful. I couldn't even finish this one. (And that's really saying something, as I literally own every book Me Small has published.)
