Made it this far, still not too bad. He is a bit whiny but it’s bearable still. Had a water line bust though so it will be slow going until I get this fixed and my house in order.

Turns out I had already purchased this second book in the series. I wasn't fond of the first one but I will give this one a shot since I bought it already. So far it's not quite as bad as the first. Just the man begging his girlfriend to come home and work things out in the middle of a bar after catching her sucking some other man's face off, with everyone hearing and staring.
