I enjoyed this story and Katharine. The portrayal of Shakespeare is refreshing (and probably more realistic), as well as the observations of the marginalized genius behind history’s (and today’s) successful/famous (white,cis) men.

I think I’m going to like this - a story with accessible contextual history, great characters, and an author I had the opportunity to know and study with as a student. I like the MC Katharine and her observations of young men and women in her society, and her initial distrust of Shakespeare (warranted).
