I can hardly believe that I've come so far in the mammoth-to-me book so quickly. I've been eager to get as much behind me as possible simply because I almost feared not finishing a huge book. Now, I'm feeling reluctance to finish (sort of that grieving process for readers) but had to MAKE myself put it down this morning. I have lots to do in and around the house today and eager to finish wonderful this story tonight!

My goal is to read about 100 pages a day now, something that's been foreign to me. But I've been able to so far, reading at night and then in bed before arising. It makes for a later morning to get started, but I'm enjoying it!

Half way through it! It really is a long book, isn't it? Haven't read it since high school.

Yes! :) Scarlett is one little work of wretchedness, and I stay aggravated with her. Would like to think she will become less self-obsessed before the end, but not holding out too much hope of that!
