So far sounds exactly like Karen's account of Africa.. Very condescending, extremely shallow - especially for an academic. Most of it reads like "See, i went to a poor person's house and wrote about it". Too anecdotal and we never get a sense of the scale of "problems" described here. And oh the problems.
