I’m going to have to check this series out! Is it like a graphic novel or just novellas released like episodes?

Every 7-9 books is a different story but its all one big story if that makes sense? Like 1-8 I think are focused around Derek and Sophia and then the next 8 or so books after that are focused around their daughter but Derek and Sophia are still in the whole entire story. It’s hard to explain haha
