About to start the longest chapter (21) in a book i don't particularly like but for some reason haven't dnf-ed yet. Maybe it's coz i don't want an engaging book rn? Maybe.
Anyway, the gentleman thing is still going on and it's all tell and no show about Penny's badassery and the body betrayal syndrome is so bad i had to check if it was published by harlequin.
And it's the first book of a duet. FML. I should dnf.

Just starting chapter 10, where i generally dnf, and realized nothing of significance has happened. We're still in the introductory phase of sorts. And I'm reading reading so i know I've not accidentally zoned out and missed something.
Do something! I know Penny is a badass and lucky and i know Rafe is not a gentleman. There's only so many ways you can reiterate the same fucking thing. Get over it.
