what i liked about it:
i like that it's so thought-provoking! it inspired me to write a poem, actually. and i'm thinking on how to word more to put them to paper. mostly i've realised how i can and must defend my faith: become the truest, most honest sense of me as i witness to it. but also, there are snatches of sciences, philosophies st. augustine describes in so beautifully, almost like poetry.

book 13 » st. augustine talks of sound being made to form a tune rather than tune to form sound. how a sound cannot be more than a tune because it is the tune which makes a sound beautiful.
it just brings to mind how as man we are made to form a relationship, a fellowship with God — how there is this sense of beauty that can be found only in the music of having a relation with God. makes me feel such awe, is all.
