Really moved by the collective theme of, seeing /been seen for who you really are, in these stories. Here the old man in the story has been growing strawberries since the narrator was a little girl. She becomes a model and with it all the trappings of success. When it all crashes down she comes back to her home town where the only constant is the strawberry man. Sad but quite beautiful.
