Honestly I just don’t like the Thicket. Ava is so selfish, she knows Mal never wanted to go back to a small town and had always wanted to leave the place. Yet she guilt trips him and begs him to stay for her and for the baby whom she doesn’t know who the father is. Mal says she’s a good friend to him but I didn’t see that. She’s just a selfish woman.
