Wow, this book suffers from a major case of weabooism. I’ve noticed it before, but hoped maybe it’ll get better, maybe I’m overreacting, but no. Japan is apparently so exotic and mystic that even saying „twenty” in Japananese is so much more mysterious and cool than saying the same thing in English

Why even mention 9-11 if it takes your characters literally one short paragraph to decide it’s no big deal and they can just keep working? Good thing it’s published now and not in 2001, but still pretty gross
