Opening three chapters phenomenal.

It's cracked open now. Exactly like David Copperfield where the stage gets set and then halfway through it starts moving.

I have no idea what is happening yet tbh and I'm ok with this

I like the format of this book a lot; challenging tho

"We kissed Charley, and took her down-stairs with us, and stopped outside the house to see her run away to her work. I don"t know where she was going, but we saw her run, such a little creature, in her womanly bonnet and apron, through a covered way at the bottom of the court; and melt into the city's strife and sound, like a dewdrop in an ocean."

I'm not really sure what is happening here yet but I have enjoyed myself :D
