Only a few stories left, but I won’t finish the last until this war is over!

I’ve read many of the stories thinking, stupidly, that the war would be over quickly. I then made a vow not to finish it until there is satisfactory peace. For God’s sake, it’s collecting dust on my bookshelf. It’s difficult to read about love and sex when people are still being killed but keep reminding myself that the royalties go to human rights organisations working in Ukraine.

Still feeling these are good short stories to have between novels.

Have got through another 8 of these short stories (an average rating of 3.5 stars). Such diverse writing styles and plots - but that should not be a surprise.
They are proving to be what I hoped for = some interesting sidelines between full-length novels.
Happy to keep going.

When I ordered this anthology, I missed the word ‘romance’. Silly me.
But what the heck, I’m enjoying another new frontier! It's good.
