Don't really know how to say this but the dialog sounds...fake. Not natural. Don't really know how else to describe it.
The characters are already together which annoys me because I like to see how they get together and the relationship progression. There's none of that. Maybe this is a sequel series? And they got together in previous books?
And I hate when the name Jeff is spelled Geoff. Just...HATE it.

Chapter 4: "Rosa was the quiet one, which was strange for a Latina woman. Chris expected her to be fiery and hot-blooded, but she was the opposite." WOW. That's some racist stereotyping right there, boy.
Also there was rape in the previous chapter. The guy used magic to make his victim THINK he wanted it and was really consenting, so I guess the more accurate word would be either non-con or dub-con.
