Haag claims that the Al-Hakim destruction of the Holy Seuplchre is somehow responsible for the rise of antisemitism in Europe. According to him, medieval Europeans couldn't differentiate between Muslims and Jews, so as a response to the attack on Holy Sepulchre, the frenzy of anti jewish violence just erupted in Europe..this books is pure christian propaganda against Islam and Muslims.

On page 47 the author says how Harun al Rashid ordered all the churches built after the muslim conquest to be demolished, just a few pages prior he said that "the Arab conquerors forbade the building of new churches for the Christian pooulation". There is no sources provided for any of these statements.

On page 44 the author says: "The sunnis barred the Caliphate to prophet's descendants for all time".

Thats ridicolous, many caliphs themselves were realted to and descended from the prophet, they even wrote fake genealogies to present themselves as members of the Quraysh, the prophet's tribe (thus related to him).
