Not for the weak-hearted... good lord, this is a dense narrative. I keep thinking that it's losing me (and/or I start to feel a little snarky about it,) just as it smacks me upside the back of my head with BRILLIANCE. Cold, bottled IPAs are my current method of 'brilliance absorption' for this one. I cain't quit you, Norman Rush. You are one gifted word-a-lizer.
