i am losing my patience w this book because it is lowkey a bit smug. like bell hooks is RIGHT and she should SAY IT but do i have to trudge thru it? exhausting! i’m sorry. i feel bad for having this opinion!!! i wish i was the kind of person that could revel in the profundity of this book. but i actually just feel knackered. speed reading to get it over with which is SAD! IM SORRY!!!!

very chic of me to be underlining bits in a copy of this book that i have borrowed (knowingly and brazenly stolen) from a Main Squeeze. vERY CHIC!!! glamorous, even? i wouldn’t go that far. made me cry on the tube tho. bell hooks never misses!!!!!!
