I’d be fitted with permanent stainless-steel rings through my shoulders, ass cheeks, and calves so I could sleep with the other Acolytes: Suspended by hooks over a pit of smoldering coals. I’d be put on a heavy diet of female hormones. And, most importantly, I’d be given a Baptism by Trepanning.

You should add Septum by the same author which is after this one and tells the story of Sybil, and how she became an Acolyte. It’s one crazy book full of body modification, pain addiction, drugs. Septum is one of my favourite books 🖤🖤

I think you’ll really like it Debbie as you like the darker side of life, same as me. I read Septum before this one, and tbh I’m not liking this as much as I loved Septum, though it is still crazy good 🖤🖤🖤
