in general Morgan-Grenville is very annoying, and I think he tends to be an apologist for the cattle industry. now he's blaming individual choices for people being overweight in the west, explicitly saying it's not really the fault of the industries who make money by serving us unhealthy food (including cattle, of course). sigh.

The author is getting into the tragedy of the commons now but he doesn't acknowledge the flaws in the entire theory, or the fact that the guy who came up with it was an enormous racist (as per this brilliant article: https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/...). It's bad journalism!
