Been listening to the audiobook and reading the hard copy. Very difficult read. It’s just about raisin farming. I thought it was going to have more to do with broad cultural points on the fading agrarian society? It was quite perplexing to just have chapter after chapter of vignettes on different raisin farmers in California. Hard read but I will try to finish
