Rereading after almost a decade and Alina is even more childish. I really want to smack her on the head! She’s such an annoying little girl with no backbone who likes to make foolish decisions left and right! Arghhhh

I started reading this because I wanted to start King of Scars after finding SOC duology and everyone recommended to read SAB trilogy first. I’m hoping the next book is better!

I'm BORED! When is the story going to pick up? And why the hell is Alina so plain. Secondary characters are more exciting than her. Gah!
