I think this might be the second memoir I have ever read. For a moment, I thought I might not like memoirs. I think reality is that I felt that Joan was far away. I felt like a dry throat swallowing pieces of information about her life. I appreciated the touching moments where she talked about her obsessive nature as means to control. I am struggling to finish this book.
