The minivan metaphor really bothers me. He didn't take any time to consider why he's bothered by driving a car that is mostly driven by women, instead he just found out that some minivans have better features than others. This feels like saying stereotypes are ok, as long as you like and accept people who are the exception to the stereotype.

Some of the things said in this chapter made me super uncomfortable. He said something about being able to sit at a table and laugh with someone who has a different view of homosexuality than I do. U have a hard time with that. Would he say the same thing about sitting down with a KKK member or a Nazi? I doubt it.
