You want to tell me they waited a month to search his flat??? is this book for real because it feels more and more like a joke

I feel like I already got the whole plot like a third of the way in, but I feel it might be confirmed soon and there's too much book left for it to be true. hopefully, because if it's that predictable I swear I'm giving it one star

oh god... there are not four months between April 30/May 1 and July... I'm not asking rocket science... count on your hand... (also it would have already been bad by itself, but it was a plot point that after three months she was kicked out the hospital, and that happened so much fucking time ago in the narration)
