I wasn’t sure I was reading a lesbian love story until Chapter 5 which I just finished. It’s set in the early 1900’s 1906 to be exact. It had been all about the earthquake and her family and who they want her to marry. Until the end of Chapter 5 then 💥 what I have been waiting for 😊 so much innocence in this story. Highly recommend!! And to think I almost gave up on it. So glad I didn’t.

It’s a good book but I would not put it under the LGBTQ category which is what I like to read. It’s more a story about the earthquake in SF in 1906. I am a few pages away from being done it’s almost hard to finish but I’m not a quitter 😊
