I was warned that reading Charles Fillmore wasn't a casual pursuit. He is quite the intellect and sometimes, he is so hard to follow. His work, however isn't meant to be just read, its meant to be studied, so after my first reading I look forward to giving it a 2nd and 3rd reading down the line.

I finally made it to Cora Fillmore's part of the book. Though her hubby Charlie is one of the co founders of Unity, we really don't even believe in some of his more far fetched ideas anymore. He actually believed that ppl could "spiritualize" themselves to the point where they could live forever. Ummm, I'm glad the New Thought movement is based in ancient wisdom yet always open to evolution!!

My pace is slowly...Fillmore resonates with me in doses (as evidenced by all the orange highlighting thats in the books) and then he goes off on these tangents where I don't follow at all. I'm going to push through the end of the book (this is two books in one) and take a break before I read Cora Fillmore's "Christ Entrhoned In Man"
