It's starting to get better now that the actual dialogue is starting to pick up. I was starting to think that Serge didn't know how to talk and the whole book would just be Beatrix's thoughts.

The writing style is so confusing it's making it really hard to like or connect with Beatrix or Serge. Right now Beatrix is really just annoying with all of her twisting thoughts.
