I had a high fever all night, so I decided to take this opportunity to read in bed.
The previous chapter was about Jim Gardener. I love the character very much. Jim and Bobbie seem to be telepathically connected together.
Yes. Reading The Tommyknockers is a chore, but I think those seemingly endless off-topic pages manage to keep me captivated. I loved the eye-opening sequence about Chernobyl and power plants.

"citizens of a little town in Utah called Blessing had all suddenly gone crazy on the same day in the summer of 1884"

I'm already hooked. I love how Bobby is living as a recluse with her dog in the middle of nowhere. She just stumbled upon that mysterious plate buried on her property and she wonders what in the world it might be. And that green light. Oh, that green light.
