I could read this person describe dozens of different marsh and lake birds for hours. The writing style and format of the entire collection of essays as well as the style and format of the individual essays themselves are very accessible to anyone, even those who aren't major fans of creative nonfiction. She has somehow managed to put into words the indescribable spirituality of the natural world.
