I do not why F. M. Dostoevsky’s book “Crime and Punishment” immediately came to mind. Typical student life, parties, alcohol and drugs.
In the middle of the book, the main plot takes place - the murder. Having read up to this point, I already thought that there was nothing more to look forward to. It will be boring. But, no, the author revealed all the characters to us. Showed their essence. Breaks. Breakdowns.
