I keep falling into the mindset of thinking these will have a horror twist at some point. But they’re all wholesome so far. This chapter six business eventually becomes pretty deep(?) when it’s exploring misremembered memories between a father and daughter, the resulting relationship troubles, and then the misinterpreted reconciliation (keyword: therapy). Very astute of Chiang, I think.
