I don't think the book is appropriate for children. The first few pages are of a kid waking up chained up somewhere. Hearing some guy say a spell ,then blood gets puts on his head then makes a magic circle out of blood . I really don't think kids should be told how to do sacrifices or what ever was happing I didn't stick around long enough.
