One of the marketing assistants sent me an email. Her name is Rachel Gilman. (She included a car that says to "please reach out" if there are other books I'm interested in. I'm not sure she realizes how dangerous that is.). It's not perfect, too often Borman presumes to know what Elizabeth I felt, but it was actually really good.

I would give this a high three to four. I knew most of it but she laid it out in a way that is not done often
That sounds promising! I'm currently reading Leanda le Lisle's latest.
It's good - I like her books - but not truly about Henrietta Maria. More about the counter reformation. I don't truly get a sense of her as the book intends. But still pretty good aside from that. That's usually the issue I have with all her books because I went back and read my other reviews.
