... I'm only at the 63% mark. I really don't want to DNF this guy but it is taking so long to get through this. However, did find that the insanely slow narrator's performance is improved a lot by jacking up the speed to 1.2x. Maybe that's what I need to get through the third act (which at some point we should be picking up the space considering we're about to begin the third act right?).

I am having such a hard time getting into this book. Listening to the audio book and I am just so bored and disinterested.

However, the title of this book is
The Darkest Lies: A Gripping Psychological Thriller with a Shocking Twist so this better deliver on that and hopefully its just a slow start
