The Chapter labeled "Poverty" was indeed about the impoverished peasants living in rural and urban Russia, the rampant corruption of post-Soviet era Russia, and the general culture surrounding the far east and rural towns where these people live. Although, like the previous chapter, it was a bit repetitive it was infinitely more interesting and a pretty fast read

The first chapter was a pretty good introduction and interesting, the second was less so. Titled Extravagance most of the chapter spent talking about the Russian Oligarchs, Elite, And the corruption of the system currently. I felt that most of the chapter did not need as many examples and content as it had. Considering I had very little interest in the business side of it, my enjoyment was about a 3 star so far
