can you elaborate? (I think it's on my to-read list too)

I have previously read The Effective Executive by Peter Drucker, an author who obviously has a strong influence on McKeown (he quotes him a few times). Anyhow, what McKeown calls essentialism is virtually identical in definition to Drucker's effectiveness. So far, the passages I like best are verbatim quotes from other authors. McKeown's own paragraphs bring little new to the table, so far.

I really just wanted to read Effortless and out of a stupid Closure-issues-feeling I decided to start with the Essentialism-book first. I've heard a lot of good things about Effortless from people I know.
