This story by Beth Revis is better than Burn3 in my opinion. It actually tries to have proper character development and explains the world the story is set in in greater depth. I'm not saying there wasn't issues--oh boy, there definitely was--but I find solace in the fact that it was better than Burn3. I'm hoping this next short story will be a gem. I have my doubts, though.

Just finished Burn3. Didn't like it. There were parts where the writing could have been so, so much better. The world building could have been better. Overall, it was... not good.

I'm sorry, but I'm glad I didn't pay for this book. Pale Rider was meh. The story I just finished, Corpse Eaters, was... just... no. It wasn't as bad as the raindrop story, but there should've been more world building for the sake of this story making sense (because I was very confused as I read it). I'm hoping the next short story will be better.

That last story was good. Dogbodies, or something. The writing was decent, the overall plot was interesting, and, while I wasn't as invested with the characters as I was with some of the other shorts, I didn't mind. The ending was superb, even if I kinda expected it.

I finished reading the third short story--the one about the necklace. I'm quite disappointed. The writing was... confusing, to say the least, and it was just a lackluster experience.

Reading the third short story in the book and... the writing is... erm, let's just say it's confusing and leave it at that.

I just finished Kelly Armstrong's story. It was pretty good~
