Decent! Fairly straight forward with the story. The poisonous plants made Beatrice and eventually Giovanni radioactive. Although Giovanni is the main character I feel like you don’t get a good feel for who he is and I basically had no idea of Beatrice’s personality. A sad ending but that’s seems to be a Hawthorne theme! Left to speculate about what happens next! Is Giovanni now doomed as well?
