I’m learning that it is totally acceptable for the plot of a book to be watching a person grow into their sexuality. Reading about Charlie’s journey of learning how to empower herself is so wholesome. It feels weird to use that word here, but oh well!

Was super unsure about this book at the beginning. I came into this with a very limited view on what a praise kink could look like. I didn’t like this book until maybe page 80 because I didn’t connect with the praise kink idea and honestly I felt awkward reading about it for some reason. But I quickly started to fall in love with reading about Charlie discovering her sexuality.

That mutual m@sterbation (do I need to sensor this word?) scene was 🥵🥵🥵. This is turning into a five star read for me.

“Like I’m the one at the helm of my own experience”. This actually touched my soul.

Ok, but like what is Garrett’s plan here? I’m going to hire my estranged son’s ex-girlfriend to try to get close to him? For a man portrayed as smart and successful, his plan seems pretty filled with holes. Overall the plot is… lacking.
