The street Christians were certainly bibliocentric (and strongly fundamentalist in their interpretation of the Bible), placed a heavy emphasis on conversion, and the atoning, substitutionary role of Christ’s death on the cross, and were decidedly gung-ho, in their activist inclinations to help, evangelize, and disciple their peers. -77
