this is rly hitting home for me rn as an #artschoolstudent. when she was tallying the amount of times people talk about “the Body” i was like yes that’s so real. feeling slightly attacked and yet validated at the same time. also cringing so hard but idk if its in a bad way or a good way yet, stay tuned.

ahshdvsvbs she just said “eyes like violet voids behind which loom the anime glare of caroline” and i can’t i just can’t what is an ANIME GLARE. the idea of this book is genuinely interesting to me but the writing is so bad i’m sorry i thought it was just super stylized but it’s also truly giving thesaurus.com and niche references / metaphors that only make sense to the author. still gonna finish it but-
