I like reading Virginia Woolf essays that I don't feel are necessarily super-good works of genius like I feel so often with the majority of her writing. like, did I enjoy The Docks of London and The Tide of Oxford St? sure, of course. did they feel vaguely like the romanticization of labor and poverty from the perspective of an upper middle-class woman? perhaps... still beautiful though. still Virginia. still genius.
