I am struggling not to DNF this one. It’s so bad. So flat and full of nonsense. The racial dynamic is unappealing and showcasing racism. The storyline and protagonists are static and all Lisa’s mojo is missing here. Worst of all, for the first time, the narrator is doing a horrible job. She was great for the past three books, but she’s totally off her game here. This should have stayed on the desk.
